Allen LeCroy Retires; Continues Legacy as Vice President


After an impressive career with Gaston County Rugby Football Club (GCRFC), Allen LeCroy (aka Crampaw) has announced his retirement from playing the sport. LeCroy, has been a formidable force on the field, contributing greatly to the success of GCRFC over the past two decades. Although his days of cramping on the pitch may be over, Allen will still be an integral part of the club's future as he continues to serve as the vice president.


Allen LeCroy's rugby journey began in 2012 with Gaston County Rugby Football Club. Over the years, he has contributed to numerous victories and memorable moments for the club, both on and off the field. LeCroy's leadership and sportsmanship have also played a significant role in fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and team spirit among fellow players.


As vice president, Allen LeCroy has already been working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the continued growth and development of the club. From securing sponsorships and managing logistics to mentoring young players and promoting the sport, LeCroy's dedication to the club is truly commendable.


GCRFC extends its deepest gratitude to Allen LeCroy for his invaluable contributions over the past 11 years. His presence on the field will surely be missed, but his commitment and passion for the club will undoubtedly continue to inspire and drive the team forward. As LeCroy transitions into this new chapter of his life, we wish him every success and look forward to witnessing the positive impact he will continue to make on the club and the sport of rugby.
